Gamemaster Arm Contact?

I have a hoyt gamemaster that shoots fantastic. My only issue with it is that I hit my bow arm often when shooting it. Would the GM2 be better in this regard. I have several other bows that have both higher and lower brace heights where I do not experience this problem. has anyone else experienced excessive forearm slap with the GM and anyone know if the GM 2 is better?
