Does anyone have one of the new Asbell wool quivers?  How do ya like it?  They look like they would be great for stump hunting.

Not what Ron means....see the pictures on the Asbell's ad up top on this page.

What David said.  I like the looks of those wool back quivers on their web site.

Hey guys....just a little information on these. Teresa has made them periodically, they are intended as a range quiver for field points. They are about 24" tall, and lined with a polyester material  (20 oz weight) to help with the durability of the wool. The bottom 4 inches has a ballistic nylon material to prevent the field points from poking holes in the quiver. The wool is heavy blanket weight material. The strap is the same as used on the haversack. Backstrap placement is centered nicely, allowing this to be used as a right or left handed quiver.

I have one on the way, and will give a "range report" after I run it through the 3D course. I use a GFA quiver for hunting, but enjoy a back quiver for 3D and small game. My reasoning is that for big game, all my arrows are the same, and the GFA rides silently through the woods. For small game and 3D, however, I often have arrows of different diameters...so my grippers don't work in a GFA or a bow quiver. I also tend to put things in my back quiver....a bottle of water, my tab, armguard, etc.

Anyway....this seems like a neat addition to Teresa's product line. I will report more after I play with one for awhile.

Thanks Roger.  Do you know if they are all the same size (diameter)?  I like a smaller quiver for 3D and stumping.

Ron....I will find out the diameter. I do believe they are all the same. For some reason I am thinking 4", but I am not positive...

Diameter is 8 inches, and they are designed to hold 1 dozen field point arrows

Look nice, but totally unsuited for Florida!

Now if someone made a ballistic nylonmesh quiver....

Teresa is top notch....but sure wish the website had more info on their products. I'm interested in one of the rectangular take down cases pictured in the ad.  But....nothing on web.  I've tried her but assume she's on the road.
Has anyone tried the bow cases?
