what poundage do you hunt with and what bow do you use? for us stubby armed guys this thread would make for a good average baseline to follow. also,,,what weight arrows/tip weight do you shoot?

25" draw, that's me. I hunt with selfbows (around 60-63# usually) and generally prefer arrows around 650 grains. Great combo for whitetails.

I'm 25.5" I'm pulling 56# shooting a 547 grain arrow with a 100 grain insert and 100 grain head. I'm shooting a Super Kodiak recurve. Joe

57# @ 26"; 60-64# spined POC cut to 26.5", 200 gr Ace up front...total weight 640 gr.

mahaska recurves,25" draw 45&51#. 26" 1916's with 250 grain WW's 552 grains total.

24" draw...42#@ 24".....1816 w/ 125gr BH.

25 inch draw at anywhere between 54# and 76# with matching arrows.
My number one bow for the past 11 years has been my Texas Recurve and 29 inch 55 # cedars with 125 gr 2 blade BH.
The Texas recure is all Too Short's fault. i have been in love with it ever since i saw it in his catalog.

25" for me.
62" Caribow Featherhorn 63#@28" (53# @25) with 26"BOP laminated birch shafts 630-660 grains
60" Thunderstick MOAB 58#@28 (48# @25)- still working out my arrow setup
