I like them. IF I had the money, I would buy a new one. No hesitation.

I like BW bows and have owned several, but I have always bought them used at very nicely discounted prices from new. I have never had a bad shooter in any of them but my favorite was the MA II 60"

BW's are among the top bows in the country. The Widow boys know how to take care of their customers! No better service anywhere!

I like some models better than others, but well made, good service and if it's important good re-sale. I have had several that I bought used, still have 2. Bought the used ones at a great savings.

I've owned 5 over the last 20 years.  I've also owned many of the other top bows.  The BW shoots better FOR ME than any of the others. Bows are like pick up trucks......Some guys ass fit better in a Dodge, some better in a ford.....are they worth the money??? only you can tell yourself that. For Sean Bleakley, they are.

If you want a BW and don't want to spend the money, cruise the classifieds for a used one.

Well it is a toss up between a widow and a palmer, my buddy just got his palmer and man it is smooth and very quick I was concerned with Palmers turn around time but my buddy said it was about 4 weeks till he got his so that's not to bad.......

You'll never regret spending your money on a Black Widow. I personally love there PSR, but I started with longbows so I'm fond of the grips on the PSR's.

I've never liked the grip on any of the 5-6 that I've shot.  Although, they are very pretty, well made, and have a wonderful customer service department.

I owned a couple ma model widows 20 yrs ago and they were good bows, I then went on a quest for the holy grail and ended up owning at least 1 of every major bow company out there. I now am back shooting widows and they are at the top of the game as far as Im concerned. One of my biggest peeves in the old days was you chose greybark or autumn oak and that was it, neither is overly pretty as far as im concerned, but todays black widow is a different cat and the sky is the limit, exotic woods, skins, engraving, overlays you can truley get a custom bow that still shoots great, very well made, and customer service thats legendary.

I got my first BW in 2013 after splitting the tip on my Grizzly. Absolutely love the BW shoots smooth, FAST and right where you point. Haven't shot to many brands but I feel like if other company's where make as good or better bows you would hear their name more than you hear the name "Black Widow". Hope to make a bow some day 70% as nice as my BW.

There are a lot of good bows out there.  I shoot a Black Widow recurve and a Black Widow longbow by choice, having tried a lot of others.  I may own some other brands of bows again someday, but I will always keep my Widows.  Great bows and a great company to back them up.

Both of mine I got new.  They were expensive, but worth it.  I would not hesitate to buy a used one either, in the right condition and at the right price.

Of the bows you are considering, BW has the better customer service and resale value.  They are both high quality and top performing bows.
