Bobby,  I saw Chuck Adams speak years ago about the Griz/Brownie he arrowed.  Double lung @ 15 yds. and the bear went 175 yds.

Thats great!  Awesome pics.  Love the bear track in the riser with the real one.
That's a great pic! I love the ring on your finger in the pic above it, too! Where could a fella get a ring like that?

Congrats on a great bear and great shot! [/b]
Thanks everybody! finally made it back to the computer so i'll try to get some questions answered, I had the ring made here in Fairbanks at a jewelry shop called gold rush fine jewelry

Glad to see you folks are enjoying the pictures! Although I killed an even bigger one last year, it never gets old.

You're right JR, it is a sow...surprisingly big for a sow, but she was very old, from what I've seen, I'd guess possibly 20 or better..rear teeth are worn almost completely down and green. I got a green score on the skull today and it's 23 4/16".

She didn't go very far at all, about 40 yards. The two I've shot expired very quickly, it seems like if you double lung them and they don't know you're there, they only have 10 seconds or so before they pile up. This one made it about 10 yards farther than the boar last year did!
