I put in for the Trout Creeks, don't know if I'll end up going, keeping my fingers crossed I can make it happen.  I'd be interested in knowing how they're recovering after the fire.

I pulled and extra deer tag for the Willamette unit. Used to pull those every year, but popularity has them only come around about every 3 years for me.

Snag , I think Chris is saying that he hopes he can get away and hunt, long drive for him.
I drew one of the 10 November White River deer tag  , been watching a beauty for three years now , only see him in November, come on November 15th!
Bunch of points on everything else , 26th year for me on sheep, I dont feel so bad now to see Ron at 42, at that point they should just give you one.
Dont feel bad Kirk , the Hood unit extra doe is at 7 points to draw now.

The one that really ticks me off is loosing our late season cow elk hunt. That hunt let you spend the general season chasing bulls, and then go for a cow in the late season....But Noooooooo.... they had to drop it completely....

Now i'm much more inclined to take a cow in general season if opportunity presents itself. I still kick myself passing on cows the last few years. But how do you settle for a cow when you can see a big bull raking trees at 25 30 yards all hot and bothered? I mean.... That's what we live for man...

I managed to draw the Wenaha spike tag, second choice, without blowing my 20 elk points. Lucky to have a friend with 0 points willing to put in with me.  Just found out my step brother drew a Cal Bighorn tag. Pretty sure he will use a rifle on that.      ;)
Congrats Ted on that Hood tag. That pic you showed me last week was a dandy. I hope you get a great chance at him. Scott.
