2 quivers for hunting
« on: September 23, 2007, 10:24:00 AM »
How many of you hunt with 2 quivers?  I thinking about buying a eagle flight bow quiver for my big game arrows and use my side stalker for small game arrows.   Before I only went after big game so i carried 3 arrows only(not many arrows for my side stalker).  I would not take any shots a  small game.  Now I think I'm going to go after both at the same time

i use a one/three arrow bow quiver and a back quiver.

i keep broadhead tipped arrows in the bow quiver for quick access, field points, judos and blunts in the back quiver.
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

I've got a 4 arrow quiver on my shrew and have a GFA side quiver full of squirrel arrows. If I;m doing a still hunt type scout i carry both along.

I borrowed a bow quiver from a good friend of mine and I'm going to try it out.

I have a side stalker style quiver that I love for 3D and target shooting. I made a GFA style with an old Selway that I use for hunting or an old Kwiki-Kwiver That I quick mount to my tree stand.    Pat

I hunt with a Jack Bowyers side quiver, the Chief.

If you want one quiver, buy a great northern.  YOu can use it as a bow quiver, OR a side quiver, works pretty slick, super light weight!

If you want a side quiver, you can't be Jacks stuff!!!!

I hunt with a "stalker" style side quiver. I installed 4 leather booties for broadheads, I can also carry 6 or so squirrel arrows. That's usually enough to get me through the day.
