Favorite Bow Quiver and Why?

My personal option based on 35yrs of me using bow quivers is if you plan on ever removing it in the woods AVOID anything with VELCRO. with that being said the tried and true Great Northern is the best I think, its proven itself a million times! if its rubber straps or the Quick release they are both quiet, super reliable and did I say quiet..

my main beef with selway styles is the GN style keeps the arrow fletching tight together and out of the way ,,, the selway styles that I personally don't like fans out your arrows  fletching resulting in that bottom fletch scraping possibly against your leg when you raise the bow to draw especially in the sitting position,, this is very loud with new feathers.  

my Thunderhorn was built nice and looked good but it cost me a nice buck and got thrown in a box when I got home because of it,,, any GN style bow quiver that does NOT have moving parts or VELCRO is perfect in my book.

I have an EFA and Thunderhorn Small Fry.  Same as Bretto stated.  Both are lightweight and stay secure on the bow.  Both have many options so you can find what you are looking for. Ken

Before you could find anything the world over on the internet, I bought a slide on  Selway locally for my Hatfield TD.  I have no complaints it looks good, stays put, and holds the arrow tight.  I have been happy with it for a couple decades plus.  Last summer I has helping a friend on a project close to where Gordy lives and got a hold of him and picked up another Slide on quiver for my longbow.  On the longbow it stays put, adds a little weight and helps to deaden the  little shock that I felt without the quiver.  I have never had the opportunity or felt the need to try one of the other quivers mentioned.

Thunderhorn Boa small fry is my go to quiver. Had a couple Selways a few years back and they were great quivers. Tried GN and EfA and while they are both good I just prefer the Thunderhorn

If you forced me to select ONE bow quiver today it would absolutely be a Thunderhorn Linx setup. Duane recently redesigned this quiver and it is phenomenally light, strong and beautiful. I prefer the Small Fry style Linx with 5-arrow gripper. The gripper bar is radiused for better fletch clearance than I've ever had. The Linx goes on/off my bows faster than my GN quiver, and is more rigid.

That said, I have/do own Great Northern, Selway, and many Thunderhorn models. These are all fine quivers I'm familiar with, and have used on many hunts in rugged settings.

I like EFA and GN quivers.  Depends what bow and what I am hunting as to which I use.  I still use the Delta quivers too.

I have an EFA on my bow....light,stays tight and quiet, and is quality made.....son, daughter and son-in-law use EFA Cherokee Chief's....great quiver !!!!!

Luv both Selway and Great Northern. Have both longbow and recurve models of each, but been hunting with a R/D longbow the past few years and been using the adjustable Great Northern which fits it best, so if I have to chose just one, I'd buy the Great Northern adjustable...

For small game I like a open center of the back quiver (Like High Noon Hunter)

I have used several over the years, Selway, GN among others and my favorite is EFA. light weight, compact and very durable. It also looks great!

Could someone tell me if the Great Northern Quick Detach quiver will hold three of the big Simmons Tree Shark broadheads. 2" wide part is what I'm worried about.
