Any Cari-Bow owners out there

I recently picked up a Tuktu from nineworld here on the forum. I am quit impressed. I is quite but not as quite as a longbow. It draws and shoots smooooooth as silk. I have yet to test it for speed but my eye chronograph thinks it is pretty quick. What do you have and what do you think?

I got a wolverine. I like it a lot smooth drawing quite and no hand shock. I am going to have Abe make me a peregrine next!

Shawn Leonard has one on here but I haven't seen him posting on here in quite a few months?
He must be pretty busy right now but maybe he will tune in ? I hear they are very nice and especially the new static limb ...

I also picked up a like new lefty Tuktu EX from the classifieds, 56@28 and I draw 29" so around 59# at my draw. After getting the correct arrow set up this thing shoots great and can smoke a 545gr arrow. I have a pro chrono and a F1 chrono but have not chronoed it and really not concerned with FPS. Finish is flawless with a awesome grip, only wish it was a takedown model but for what I paid for it I have no complaints. Even at that poundage and arrow weight noise in not a concern to me. Over all great product.

I have had two ... an Slynx 2pc LB that was a really HARD shooter and performance wise as good as any LB I have owned, it was a bit heavy for me so I sold it but wish I had found one in a lighter weight. It was beautiful Black and White Ebony. The other is a 3 pc Taiga recurve and that bow also is a fine shooter, it's a 64" bow and has some beautiful elk horn / moose horn work on it. The riser on that bow fits me like a glove. Both bows I bought used on the classifieds at very good prices. Abe builds solid bows that perform. Fit and finish is very good.

I've owned a one piece Wolverine and Slynx but sold those for a 2pc Slynx that Abe built for me. I have not shot any bows that outperform it. Great grip, beautiful to look at, quiet, smooth and FAST.

Mine is 55#@28 I pull it 27 so it's 51#. My FMJ 400 are little over spine for it. I should try Surewood Doug Fir shafts and try to stay close to 8-10 GPP.

I have a custom order Tuktu ex. Got it late fall last year, to late for me to hunt with it. I can hardly wait to kill something with it this fall.

Ive got 2 of them! Both are 58" wolverine longbows.
One is a mildly plain 51# that I use for 3D and hunting. It is by far my most accurate bow and I absolutely love it. Great cast along with a dead silence make it a joy to shoot.
My second is a beautiful custom wolverine that is 60# and is purely a hunting bow for me. While I cant shoot it quite as well as the light bow this heavy bow has unbelievable hitting force and is a flat out killer.
I am a longbow man at heart but one of these days I am going to have to try a Tuktu Ex! I can imagine it is just as amazing as any other cari-bow out there. Enjoy SS

I ordered a Cari-bow Peregrine some years ago. Definitely a keeper. Fast, silent, very sweet draw, no handshock or vibrations, very forgiven and hits were you look. Great customized grip, and great craftmanship. One of the best hybrids I ever shot.
Highly recommended for sure!

I have owned several of Abe's bows from the Featherhorn(3), Taiga(2), Silver Fox(4) and Slynx(1) and you will not go wrong with any of them. Got a custom Silver Fox on order right now.

I have a featherhorn that is quiet and lightning fast, no handshock, smooth drawing. I still have it, but miss it, as at 55# its a tad too heavy for me now after a shoulder injury. maybe someday.
