I have noticed that several people here, as well as I, use Smokey's preorbital gland lure and I noticed that Smokey has developed a buck forehead gland lure that I intend on using as well. I came across several articles & videos via the web in relation to homemade horizontal rubs made from cedar wood/branch. On our property we have 3 small cedar trees that are completely demolished each year is why this subject drew my curiosity. I believe its more of a scent post then a rub in my opinion and this is where Smokey's preorbital and forehead lure comes to mind.
I would like to get some feed back & thoughts from you guys on this or have you tried making one of these. Here's one video that I came across. Thanks!!

Interesting, haven't seen that one before.

My thoughts exactly. To me, It's similar to wicked wicks. I like trying new things so why not?? It will be interesting to see what happens.
