Liberty Bows Edge       64" 50lb at her draw

...the smile says it all
Her winning first round of a water jug competition last month at the Eagle Cap Traditional shoot - only been shooting bows for a little over 2yrs - all with a longbow, she's doing really well.

My wife just does a few 3/D's with me.....she now shoots a 14" Morrison ILF riser with cheap 30# recurve short limbs. 56" bow 25# @ 25", been at it just over a year or so and is doing very well. She claimed my 17" Zipper riser but the 14" Morrison seems to fit her better so I got my Zipper back!.......lol!

My wife is only a 3D shooter, can't get her to hunt.  She has a RER Vortex longbow 56"/37# @ 28" and a RER XR takedown recurve 58"/30# @ 28" but has just ordered new limbs at 37#s.  I did buy her a '69 Kodiak Hunter a while back, but she just wasn't comfortable with pulling 43#....I guess I'll just save it for me when I get older.

As for arrows, I made her Carbon Express Medallion 1100's and Easton Carbon One 1150's, both cut to 28 5/8".

You have the best problem that could ever face an archer. If my wife would shoot with me, I would buy her ANY bow she wanted. Be sure to post pics when her bow arrives. You are a lucky guy.

My wife just received two longbows.  I surprised her with a Howard Hill Archery Co. "Cheetah", and our friend Steve Turay w/ Northern Mist presented her with one of his beautiful longbows (boy was I jealous :-)

She has been shooting an Acadian Woods "Tree Stick", another gorgeous bow from Tim Mullens.  Now she gets confused on which bow to take out and shoot, LOL.  She absolutely loves all three.
She also thinks all three are tremendous bows, however, the Northern Mist and the HH bow are so light in the hand, she says they're incredible just to carry around.

All three have no virtually no hand shock, what so ever.

Put her on the phone to her mom or sister and she shoots a lot of bull.

35 lb EagleWing three piece that is 60  in heavy d and r. I built it for her short , 24 in draw and it stacks up past 26 inches . But it sure performs for a 24 inch draw.

God bless, Steve

My wife shoots a Bodnik 31# at 26in. But she wants something with a little more zip. Currently looking for a 35-40# longbow for her. Might end up ordering a new Mad Dog.

My wife shoots a Tredway that Mike custom built for her a few years back. It's 31@28 so she is shooting about 25-26 at her short draw. She has always loved it. our Grand daughter shoots a great northern Baraga that we got used here on trad gang. It's 35@28 and she shoots it very well. I'M very blessed to have both to shoot with me.

Pinnacle II with longbow limbs. She doesn't shoot very often, but you'd never know it. She shoots that bow very well!

My wife shoots a bear recurve 25# @ 28" or a striker longbow 30# @ 28". The bear is her favorite.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

My wife shoots a classic 1962 Bear Polar.  #34 pounds at her draw.  Lots of beautiful classic bows out here on the used market.
