Please post pics if you've got em. Would like to get suggestions on riser woods that look good with brown glass limbs.

Hmm.  My picks would be, in no particular order..Chechen, Myrtle, Zebrawood, Goncalo Alves, Ziricote, Pau Ferro, Bastogne Walnut,...so many choices.  I'll think of a few more...

I think true brown glass looks great with about any wood that isn't black or super dark brown. Looks good on white woods like maple, and semi dark brown woods too.
Personally I would think the brown glass will look best on woods that are lighter in color than the glass.

The trick though is often brown glass comes out a little burgundy colored I hear.

Brown with a hint of purplish/red just doesn't sound appealing to me....maybe on purple heart..lol

I have a JD Berry that has macassar ebony in the riser with brown glass, and if Photobucket decides to play, I will post a pic. That is a very nice combination.
Photobucket isn't working, so here is a link to my post about my Berry. The brown glass is on the back, with white on the belly.

I'm an Osage fan, brown would be good with Osage.

Tall Tines in Wenge and Bocote with brown glass limbs. When I ordered it I intended to put Copperhead skins on it but when I finally got it that chocolate colored glass was just too pretty to cover up.

I have a Kanati made with the newer brown glass. It is lighter in color, with out the burgundy hue... more of a tannish brown.

Agree on osage.  I thought about the list I mentioned and after thinking on it I vote for Gonçalo Alves.

This is great combo and I have one, '65 Grizzley that is.  Zebra wood with brown glass would be a great combo.  Will post a pic later.
