In my opinion you are probably already shooting one of the better gloves. Before you switch you may want to make sure that your arm is in line with the string when drawing to give better distribution to the forces on the fingers. Most people who think they need a thicker glove really just need better alignment.

I really like the Black Widow Stik Tite Glove. I've tried several others and keep coming back to it. With low 50's bows, I still have decent string feel, with plenty of protection, and a smooth release. Will probably order a new one to start breaking in once they have my size back in stock.

I had the same problem last year, and I would also agree with Joh. I had shot the same glove for 4 years day in and day out and it was just bagged out. I bought a new Damascus glove and I was fine again. With all that being said I do have 1 glove that seems to work really well with one specific bow and that's the American Leathers BIG-SHOT.

I like the Damascus a lot. I always go for a little extra feel on the string rather than just protection. My other favorite is the all-synthetic Bear Paw/ Kustom King "Black" glove. It has flexible nylon weave ('cordura' like) finger stalls. It is highly resistant to grooving, comfortable in hot weather, and protects well while still offering good feel and control of the string.

Three rivers dura glove just like a damascus but cordura fingers. They had some issue with quality a year or two ago but have corrected that. I sent Jonathan Karch a messege he sent me two corrected ones free. Great customer service. The bear paw black and speed glove from Custom King are good too. A little thicker.

American Leathers Big Shot Crossover hands down! It's pricey but worth every penny.
Here is a short review I did on one a while back. Mine is still in FANTASTIC condition. I won't buy another release aid unless this company goes out of business.

X3 on the Black Widow Stick-Tite glove. I would personally avoid the one with the nylon stalls. I ordered the Super Stick-Tite but ended up just cutting off the nylon stalls; the leather is thick enough to protect but still allows good string feel.
I like rubbing a little corn starch on the leather to give it that little extra smoothness for release.

The best glove for me has been the American Leathers Crossover glove in buffalo. It offers enough protection yet I can still feel the string.
It's worth every penny I paid for it. I have had mine close to 3 years and it is still holding up good.

I was shooting a Damascus for years. Before, that I was shooting a big shot by American leathers. This yr I was wanting a new glove. I almost got a BW stick tite but thought the webbing between the fingers would bug me (still want to try one) well I pulled the big shot out of retirement and shot it for a while and liked the fact I could hold longer at full draw and continue to pull without any discomfort in my fingers. So I ordered a new one.
I get the feel thing with the Damascus but like anything if you give it time to get use to that will become you favorite because it what you are use to. I like not havering sore fingers. I think after i shoot a while and your fingers get sore or any discomfort of the string digging into you fingers I think I have a unconcious tendency to want to dump the string early.
Just a,thought
Good luck with you glove quest. We've all been there.
Tim.
