The North Carolina boys should be on the road now.
Dalton had a last minute string mishap but I happened to have a 54" string laying around.
He'll get it dialed in and we'll be pig hunting by Monday afternoon!

Heading south in about 6 hrs! To say that i am jacked is a gross understatement! Wish us luck, we will be in a stand tommorow evening! Pictures to follow tommorow. (kill or not ) :cool:

Headed down 95 south as I type. (no im not driving lol) I thought it would be helpful to make of things ideas sure to pack, might help someone who is planning a trip.

2 Bows (I have been known to lose them down here)
Extra string, (hate those pesky things)
Arrows, lots of varmits arras.
Headlamp
Flashlight
thermacell, thermacell, thermacell
2 sets of hunting clothes
Knives
Couple bags of corn (corn is un-Godly high down here)
Sunscreen
cooler (s)
Camera, memories are priceless.

Thats a quick list off the top of my head, a good start anyway.

We had a really cool stalk on a sow in an abandoned orange grove today(my 10 year old son said it was the biggest hog he's ever seen). I got some of it on video. I'll let Dalton tell the story....
He's sitting the same stand as the first night right now.
Trying to pull some trail cam pics off an sd card.
Why in the world does it always want me to "format" it first(not doing that)?
