Theft....
« on: July 20, 2014, 05:54:00 AM »
Typical...

Just returned home from a weekend away with my partner to find two of my backpacks and also two of my tackle boxes containing all my archery gear has been stolen.

Just about everything I owne archery wise was in those two boxes, you name it... BHs, fletching, strings and the list roles on... All gone.

I pray that I don't find the light fingered culprits...

Reminds me of a quote : "There is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft... When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife's right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness"
"No citizen has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever Seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." Socrates.

That just stinks Al and I'm sorry that you're having to experience what being personally violated feels like.

If there's any way we can help just let it be known.

God bless,Mudd

Damn a thief.  That sucks.  I have a few glue-on Woodsman BH's I could send you.  Also have a near new condition 8125 longbow string for a 62" longbow I'm not using.  Let me know if these items would help you.

I agree with nineworlds9 - "Damn a thief".  Be sure to check all the pawn shops etc. even in towns a fair distance from where you live.

It's sad that this seams to be happening more and more often. I have been there myself and know how your feeling. Had a pse that my father gave me stolen years back.  I have a couple of old knifes laying around if you need one.

Al.  Like others have offered, I too can fix you up.  Whatever you might need, let me know.  Plus, I could use some extra space in the house which by the way, wouldn't upset my wife in the least.
