Fellow EZ Fletch users...with feathers..

I have a question about my right helical carbon EZ Fletch.....
Do you get much helical twist with it? I have compared it to my bought arrows and they all have a much greater helical twist. Also, these newly fletch arrows do not seem to want to spin.
I have compared it to the pics in the link below and it looks to me like right offset.

What do you think? I wish to use broadheads eventually and the arrows do not really spin... What to do?
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Not sure if this is the answer that you're looking for. I have used the LW EZ Fletch for many years (over 20) and I have never felt the need to look for a better fletcher. A well tuned arrow trumps pretty much any and all fletching issues IMO.

Not familiar with that fletcher, but is the clamp adjustable? If so, just need to adjust it to give the feather more helical. Of course, the clamp itself needs to be curved to the right, if it's right wing helical. If it's straight, you can still offset it. Also, be sure to use right wing feathers in a right wing clamp, and left wing feathers if you have a left wing clamp. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses.
I take your point regarding a tuned arrow. It is not well tuned. I did a bareshaft test and the arrow was too soft. However, I cannot cut the arrow down further otherwise it is shorter than my draw.
So you think it is not spinning, because the arrows are not the correct spine?
I have some wooden shafts coming this week, which I can tune. Maybe this will prove whether the helical twist is enough to make it spin.
The EZ fletch jig is a great jig, especially for beginners. I had no problems with my first three(which I am testing now). I just took heed of the warning about not using too much glue. I did not us superglue, just until I get the hang of it.
Cheers

I had one and hated it. Way too much play in the arms and fletching landed all over, everywhere but where I wanted it. And it did have very little helical.

How are you determining that the arrows are not spinning...I agree the EZ Fletch does not create much helical but I have always found it enough...with a properly spined arrow my 1 degree offset one works fine

Alex, try a lighter point and that will stiffen up the spine on your present arrows.
I cannot answer with certainty about the spinning but the sooner the arrow lines out the quicker it will spin, or at least seems that way to me.
As far as glue I use Fletchtite Platinum on carbon arrows and Duco on wood arrows.
