Well I finally found the time to get back to editing a few videos. Truth be told I have just been lazy. I thought it best to get rid of some of this footage before my boy piles more on me when he returns, lol. The story of this special kudu bull was posted here last July but here is the video. Man what a great day it was for him and a wonderful memory for me.

You son showed great maturity in waiting for the bull and the shot opportunity he wanted.

And that shooting! I don't think you could get better placement if you tried.

Thanks guys. I was so very proud of him on this hunt. He showed a great deal of maturity waiting on the right bull and the perfect shot. I couldn't show all the encounters he had looking for the right bull or the video would have been two hours. He had 20+ mature bulls at 20 yards or less over a 7 day period. This included a crazy encounter with a monster bull at 10 yards from a tree stand that faced him for 20 minutes.
I am headed over to be with him in a very short time. I am pumped beyond words to be with him.

He shoots an older MA black widow at 56 pounds. He got that bow at 13 years old and killed a pig 3 hours later.

I just tried to talk to him in Namibia and he cut me off short saying "got to go dad. I am chasing a warthog." You don't hear that every day, lol.

Very nice the video of the Kudu. I thought it was a great shot. I was staring a hole in the spot I would have been aiming for and then your son's arrow appeared in that exact spot!
