Could use some "wood" help?
«

Hello!
Gonna place an order with Maddog and would like some help deciding what woods I want for the riser and limbs.
I like dark woods with a warm classy look to them. Like lots of grain or swirls.. I'm really lost when it comes to wood.
If anyone has some combos they think would look nice or some pics to back it up I'd appreciate it!
Thanks
Caleb

I was hoping you'd chime in! Absolutely beautiful bows you have there sir. Quite stunning! If you don't mind, I may have some questions I'd like to pm you about concerning some specs and stuff.
Still drooling over the sheer beauty of those tools!!

The pic of the bocote and zebra wood Mike just posted is mine. I think a wenge riser with zebra lams or Osage lams would be nice as well. You might try asking Mike for some pics of his previous bows that meet your taste.

Will do! Just have to wait to use the computer. I'm typing this on my phone. We had a bad storm and power is out.
Thanks
