pink diamondwood

Where can I get a block of pink or pinkish diamondwood large enough to fashion a riser from?  My girlfriend wants to make the transition from her wheelie bow, but said that she had to have a pink bow.  Fair enough deal for me  :D  .

Get a hold of Bjorn, he recently made a pink bow for his daughter.

Try HutProducts.com they will sell you  a piece that is 2x2x36 but you have to pay for 2 turning blocks and tell them you want it 36" long when you order it.

You can also use pink ivory wood available from companies that sell turning blocks.

I've got a Rutland catalog and they don't offer it in pink. and special orders are really expensive.

As Mdbowman says pink ivory should fit your needs, it has a fairly pink natural color. I just ordered some along with a bunch of other exotic wood for knife handles.

I checked the Hut Products page and found some pink and blue (bubble gum).  They didn't seem to have it in big enough sizes, but I emailed them to make sure.
She has seen some bows with pink ivory and didn't really like that tint of pink.  She wants "pink" pink...the bubblegum type.
Anyone have any other suggestions on where to find pink laminated wood.  I guess even plain laminated hard rock maple wood work.
Thanks for all the help so far.

Doc:
I checked the Rutland catalog and the closest they have to pink is Fuchsia and it alot darker than bubblegum pink.

You could get a piece of light colored wood and dye it. I've dyed hickory and bamboo with Rit dye.

It is probably safe to say that pink wood diamondwood is not in high demand?  :)

You can get dymondwood in any size you need. You just pay for "blocks" and he doesn't cut them.

I do it all the time that way. I use blocks that are 2x3x20. Different colors do come in different sizes sometimes.
