Sweet! Those shrews are really nice. I have avoided shooting one so far, cause I got a lot of other stuff that I need to get taken care first before I go and get the fever for new bow. lol

Goodbye Shiner you were always a good dog.

Good looker Kawika..........do we have to wait too? Looks like a Schrew??

kawika b

Yes she's a Shrew Bjorn. James,,,,listen to the little voice that's the most loudest when making decisions,,,that's the one usually trying to keep you out of trouble,,,,or bankruptcy.

Actually it's the still small voice ( the easiest to drown out ) that I get into trouble from not listening to.

Yep, more true than I care to admit most times.

Anyway, I sure hope your wait is not too long. But, if it is, I'm inclined to think it will be worth it.

Oh btw, I like your sig. Goes along with; we have two ears and one mouth for a reason.

Sweet looking bow Kawika. You need to get that one out there after the pigs and Axis.

Kawika,

Thanks for posting......that's a dandy looking Super Shrew. I think it's a little bit of a secret (but I'm not one to keep them anyway) that there are several members of the Super Shrew "field test" team here on tradgang.  Part of the contract we signed with Ron was that if we saw a new bow going out to a customer that looks good to us (which is basically all of them), we can place a phone call to Ron and have them sent to us for a two week "field test" prior to final customer shipping.  I've kind of had a hankering to run a shadow grey takedown version through the paces during the first part of our MI archery deer season and voila, your's appears!        :D

Good news:
1) Your bow will be shot-in properly by an experienced "Shrewhaven Lodge" field tester.

2) You'll have a notch or two (we make them small) in the leather handle for each deer harvested while testing.

3) Your bow will already be used to out of state hunting trips.

4) Best of all-there's no additional charge for this service that you just won't find with any of the other reputable bowyers here.

Bad news:

1) It delays receiving your bow by two weeks.
2) You may find a little blood on the bow that we miss in final clean up.

As you can see, the pro's far outweigh the cons here.

Anyway, congratulations on your "new" bow.

Ray

p.s.-welcome aboard the 'Shrew Clan'-well as you astutely mention in your thread title 'hope to' pretty soon, anyway.     :biglaugh:      :biglaugh:

NEVER ask the bowyer to send pics...it only makes the wait more painfull and can cause unnessesary friction between you and the mailman

kawika b

point well taken larry,,, but my mailWOMAN is safe,LOL. i worship her even more when she brings me  any package that looks like it could be carrying a bow,,, the mailGUYS just get high fives.

No problem on the tech support. We're here to make sure Shrew owners are completely satisfied.   :wavey:

I know you'll enjoy the bow.
