Tuning help needed!

I am attempting to bare shaft tune my Hill Country Woodland Whisper 49 @ 28. I a shooting a GT traditional 35/55 at 30" with a 175 grain point and a split finger release. Tuning the side to side wiggle out of the arrow was as easy as a simple quarter inch trim of the arrow. However, I cannot get a different arrow reaction other than nock-high... No matter how high or low I move the nocking point. I have moved the nocking point up and down the serving in eighth inch increments with very little change in the Arrow's flight. Is there another factor other than nock placement that could effect nock high flight that I am getting?

Brace height, maybe, although too low a brace height would normally mess up the side-to-side flight as well.

Try messing around with your finger placement on the string. My release sometimes gives me fits especially with bare shafts and arrows do weird things! Try split, 3 under, 2 under. Deep hook vs finger tips etc. Also, make sure you have double nock points if shoot 3 under. That arrow should be very close for that bow in my experience. I "think" pressure from my index finger on the arrow causes my problem.

Is the Nock Tight on the string? If the nock is too tight it can cause flight problems.

Nock is not too tight on the string... Had to adjust that early on. I will mess with the brace height and finger placement this evening. Thanks for the help and keep the suggestions coming!
