Hope to do a solo kayak / bowhunt in the Adirondacks this fall. 3-4 days in a remote area just to say I did it. Getting older ya know...lol

I've been pretty tied down with my elderly parents these past 7 years which has kept me limited to a bit of white tail hunting.  Dad passed 5 years ago and mom just last week.  Hope to get back to a more normal life and do something fun next year.

Mountain Lion in Colorado this winter. Seems like all the hunts that that involve me turn into some sort of an adventure.

I drew a bull tag for 6A.  So I've got 2 weeks of elk hunting to look forward to.  I've got one more scouting trip planned before it opens.

Only 15 miles as the Crow flies across the river.
But a very different hunt(Southern Il). Hoping for a grand adventure.

BAK, I understand how caring for loved and older family can run your own plans a muck.  Sorry to hear about their loss.  Have  great time in the woods this fall, sounds like you earned it.

I will be hunting the family farm in WI at the beginning of November. Nothing to big, its more about quality time with family and old familiar grounds.
Relax,

I am going to make the old bones creak and do some solo spike camp/backpack elk hunting this year in order to escape the moo cows.

My best hunting partner Brett drew a Goat tag.  We're taking the llamas in and hunting with a bow the first 10 days in the Absaroka's north of Jellystone.   Should be a hoot in some amazing alpine country.

Sounds like some great times ahead for everyone. I'm just staying here in MI at my (hopefully finished) deer huntin' shack.

My brother is new to the longbow this season, been shooting a lot and looking forward to a few weekend hunts with him. Always an adventure of some sort happening with the two of us together...

Leaving on 8/31 for a Maine bear hunt. I'll start baiting bear in Arkansas when I get back for the season opener on 10/1. Be doing a little deer hunting too when I can breakaway from building bows.
