Leaving on the 26th of Sept for a 6 day moose hunt with Conne River Outfitters in Newfoundland. I will be hooking up with three other Trad hunters whom I met on this site. We are all pretty psyched! I will also have a bear tag in my pocket.

I'll be heading to SE OK again this year in search of black bear. These trips always end up being an adventure. Hopefully this year the adventure will include a bear, instead of the usual Murphy's Law stuff. (Had everything from flat tires and dead car battery, to flames under the hood and gov't shut-down closing my campground.)

Also got drawn for McAAP this year, so I'll be going down there with some old friends and meeting up with some fellow TG'ers to make new friends.

Downed game or not, should be another great year of enjoying God's creation and every minute that the Good Lord gives me in it.      :archer:

After reading about 5 pages of these posts, I am beginning to imagine I will be getting a tattoo that says, "Poser"......I need to get out beyond the DC Beltway...

So, the highlight of my season may be reading all the hunt success threads from those of you who DO go on adventures this year.

Heading to Colorado end of Oct thru 2nd week in Nov. Its a gun hunt for elk, but have to get my feet wet out west somewhere.  Family runs a taxidermy shop out there and I'll be with them- hoping to learn a ton! (Like how to stay warm!)

My son is getting married in three weeks. It was my year to go to WY to hunt. She's a great girl though. The wedding should be enough adventure. Good luck to all who are going on hunting trips.

Anytime one gets out, it's an adventure!
I'll be in Montana hunting for at least 15 days in September, October and November will be wide open after that!

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

This will be my very first season hunting traditional so it will all be an adventure. Which I am very excited about. To add to it I got invited on my first hog hunt also so this will be a very exciting season for me.

The hunt is the adventure . The Maryland marsh and NY Adirondacks . With my health problems the hardest part will be getting the game out , more so in the Adirondacks as I hope to get a bear and the deer are big up there .

May life's simplest things bring you the greatest pleasures !!!
