HSS safety harness question
«
on:

thinking of getting one of these harnesses but i'm just wondering if they have an attachment point on the back of the harness somewhere between the shoulders?
reason i ask is when in stand how are you attached? when in stand i want to be attached to my safety line a little above my head so there is no slack to take up in a fall.

There is a strap coming off the back between shoulders, maybe 2.5' long which you can snap on a carabiner and clip to safety line above your head.

Clint, like Gery said, there is a strap coming out if the back if the harness. The. There is a separate strap that goes around the tree above your head. You hook the two together with a carabiner.

Clint you really should consider these also> Most falls happen when getting in or out of the stand. Whether you make your own or buy they are worth the investment

Just bought a HSS harness used a Seat o the Pants for years and was getting a bit worn. Lifeline is a must for me my grandson and his dad, strongly agree with Bow man. We stay attached at all times even when transferring to our ropes on the tree. The tether on the harness is long enough and allows you to do this.

I have a lifeline and can't use it on state land because it wouldn't be there the next time, but I agree with bow man
