muzzy phantom 105 or 200 grain
« on: September 25, 2007, 03:33:00 PM »
I was looking at shooting the phantoms, and was wondering when I GET MY BOW BARE SHAFT TUNED will the 200 grain throw off anything apposed to the 100 grain? How should I start to bareshaft tune? I will be shooting a black widow 62 inch 54lb@28 in recurve.Rodger suggest that I start with a 2216 alluminum and thats what I will try,  but how long of a shaft. I ordered a "tuner arrow" with the bow and he will send it with the bow. Thank guys!!  :banghead:

How long are you drawing? What point you use should be decided by what weight tunes the arrow best to your bow.

2216 sounds awful stiff IMO.
