Easton Axis Trad and 4 fletch
« on: August 26, 2014, 05:10:00 PM »
Just got a dozen axis 500s and was planning on fletching them 4  LW 4"fletch with "regular" amount of helical. My question, with such a skinny shaft will the ends of the feathers be nearly touching or touch each other for that matter? Will that interfere with shelf clearance or effect flight?  I know I could go fletch them up and try them, but I figured I would ask if anybody has any experience with this before I get started. .. Or should I just go with 3 5"....Appreciate it..

I've been doing 4 fletch on my MFXs for years. Works just fine!  :D
