Missie Tank! What's the deal?
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

''Missie tank'' is a waterhole in New Mexico that my buddy Joemama has had numerous encounters w/ bull elk and some of those encounters didn't workout for Joemama.

Hero stand and catapult are the only with any zing to them.
The catapult got its name from a series of texts between my friend Preacher and I.
See, Preacher placed the stand in a tree about as big around as the riser of my longbow. I mentioned to him that as soon as I stepped on to the stand, the tree bent over and I was only two feet off the ground and it was loaded like a catapult!

His reply....I feel 4 the enemy!

Ok not as exciting as it sounds at least for me. And I'm sure they it was a happily married couple. I hunt public property in NW lower peninsula there is allot of two tracks and the DNR has been felling trees and digging berms and pits to reduce vehicle access. Well at one of my parking spots there was you guessed it a Purple Bra hanging in the branches.

On my lease most stand sites are maintained and kept in the same spot for year. Most are named for the hunters that put them there or hunted it most. But a few have names. We have the bear stand, ant hill, red grass, the squirrel tree, the hog stand and white box.

Of these my only stand that has a name is red grass. It has lots of tall grass that turns reddish brown in the fall around it. It makes for some tough tracking unless you paint it red with a Simmons type blood trail.

The Bust My A$$ Stand is one of our big producers.  If we had video of three guys trying to hang the crappiest tree stand in the world you'd understand the name.
