20 and closer, but I don't recall ever shooting at a deer further than 15.

I practice on targets out to 45 yards regularly.

Real confident at 15yrds, still confident at 20.
I like to stretch my practice distance so closer shots are easier.

I tried to set up my stands for a 15 yard shot. I will shoot out to 20 yards if everything feels right.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

like t folts above me.....i will shoot to 15 without hesitation but am confident i could close the deal at 20.

i shoot to around 30 in my yard because that is all i feel i can safely shoot there.

i could shoot about 90 yards if i wanted to behind the house but then neighbors property starts coming into play and with my luck someone will happen to be walking through their back field.

15 and in ideally, 16-17 would also take. Once they get to 20 I'm letting them walk.

Most of mine have been 22-27yds but I'm comfortable to 30.  I'm less comfortable under 12 than at 20-30.

15yds. or less. My longest kill has been 13yds. Last year it was 10ft. I am a stickler for playing the wind and absolute stillness while on stand.
