What broadhead are you using this year?
« on: September 04, 2014, 09:49:00 PM »
With hunting season finally here    :clapper:  just wondering what broadhead are you going to use this year?  What are you hunting?   Are you changing from last year?  If so, why?
I'll get it started .... Since I have dropped in bow weight (to about 42 lbs.), I'll be using "standard" 2 edge broadheads (Eskimos, Magnus II, No Mercys) on deer from treestands.  I'm uncertain  if the Deltas and 4 edge Eskimos I used last year will constantly provide pass through penetration.
Thanks for your reply.

The Grizzly Instinct 3 blade.  It has proven to be a great head for me already this year.

Hunting whitetails with the Abowyer BH. Started using them last year. I used Tusker concord before that. Both are good, but Abowyer are my number 1 after many years of changing heads.
