I have experienced no difference between cock feather in or out. My brother shoots the same way.

In for me.  All bows, all the time.

I feel like it give me more consistency.

Cock feather in for me as well. Although I do switch back and forth some. I consistently go back to in for hunting.... whatever you get used to, I guess.

On my bow it makes no difference at all which way the cock feather is facing. I have experimented with it and I have seen no difference.

I currently shot with it pointed up, but have shot with it facing in prior to that.

I just bought a Cari-Bow and Abe recommends orienting the fletching at 12, 4 and 8 o'clock, or cock feather up...I long ago came to this same conclusion...I have shot cock feather out and cock feather in as well...I have shot arrows with plastic vanes off the shelf...with a correctly spined arrow orientation is a non factor for me...I just settled on cock feather up to take one variable out of the arrow building equation

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I shoot cock feather in off a Bear Weather Rest. The position of the top hen feather acts as a second anchor reference point by touching the tip of my nose along with my regular anchor, middle finger to the corner of my mouth. It has improved my consistence immensely.
