No Red in a Black Widow Bow
« on: September 10, 2014, 03:00:00 PM »
You are crazy not getting red in it - ha!

Pau Ferro

I turn 50 next month so I purchased this (hope I make it!). I also stated a few years ago I would decide on letting go of all my old compound gear by turning 50 - the decision was made earlier this year, never used the stuff anyway and the wife will be happy with all the other stuff being gone - win - win situation there!

Easy bow to shoot, it has the weight of my Phenolic Predator which I enjoy. I is not loud as some have stated. Roger, John and Toby were easy to deal with and was to my door in 7 weeks.
Wish I would have bought one sooner

Very nice, enjoy!!! My widows are awesome performers and extremely quiet to boot...The Black Widow Folks & Company are solid. Happy to call them friends!

Nice bow!

Yep, I'm happily crazy. My last two Black Widows have no red, and I love them like that. My next one won't have red, either.

Enjoy your bow!

Happy 50th Birthday Rich, You are gonna love that bow! The PMA's are great shooters. Also that's a great way to tie on catwhiskers, looks very similar to how I do it. And yea I have the red in both of mine, but with some of the darker riser woods the black looks fine.

What a good looking widow there. Am sure you will enjoy it thru the years.
Have been looking for a 45 # 60 inch PSAX with Olive Ash limbs forever[used]. Found one a couple months ago on Stickbow. That is agreat  recurve for me. Every time I shoot it is a joy. Like mine with red too.
Can not say much too good for Widows longbows[Hummingbird 3 pieces have them beat], but the PSA is a great arrow slinging machine.
Thanks, Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

I gotta disagree !!your bow is pretty darn sweet but I have had a few PSA's and PA'S and have left the white out and this time kicked the red out of my PAX .. I guess it depends on the wood combos but I really like the no red in my most recent widow....but that doesn't mean im not crazy !!!!    ;)
