Juniper?
« on: September 12, 2014, 11:31:00 PM »
Thinking about ordering a bow for my son in Arizona.  Juniper is one of his favorite trees out here. Does anyone have pics of juniper laminations? Does anyone use mesquite?

There's a picture or 2 on the Fox Bow site, and I have a Whip that's been owned by a couple lefties here.

This is the bow I bought second hand to help recover from my shoulder surgery.
Big Jim Buffalo, very pleasing to the eye IMHO.
Loaded up with juniper all over the place.

Great pics...juniper looks great on limbs or in a riser, one of the woods I was kicking around when I ordered my Northern Mist from Steve, but I ended up going with Osage....may have to order another.    :)
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

I had a Wesley Special that had Juniper under clear glass and it was beautiful.  I don't believe I have pictures of the limbs though.

I hope this comes out O.K., been a long time since I posted photos...
These are all Robertson bows            There is also a set of cocobolo that I sent the wood to Dick for the limbs, sorry didn't know how to edit those limbs out of the picture.
