ACE 175gr. SUPER EXPRESS BH

Who on here has experience...good or bad... with ACE'S 175 grain SUPER EXPRESS broadhead..??? There are so many great broadheads available to the modern archer, and I'm sure many work quite well. But for some reason I keep looking at this ACE head..??? I started shooting more weight up front on my field points this year with great results.175-200 grains up front as opposed to 125 up front. I used to shoot 125 grain field points on my 500 spine carbons/55# spine cedars which worked pretty well.....my bows were mostly in the 47#-53# range. The heavier point weight shot even better though without over paradoxing. Sooo, thought I would do the same with the broadheads.I also realize I could use my old broadheads and merely add weight upfront....but that doesn't give me reason to purchase new broadheads...lol..!! Any thoughts here???? Thanks in advance ........John

We sell quite a number of all Ace broadheads and have had no bad feedback.

I shoot the super express. It is Very easy to sharpen. It takes probably 3minutes to sharpen one with a file. It leaves a nice big hole!

I shot the ace super 175 last year with great results. Nice flight, good penetration easy to sharpen hold an edge. I'll be shooting them again this year.

I have killed several deer with Ace Super Express heads...like all Ace heads, superb quality easy to sharpen with just a file, and amazingly sharp.

I am an Ace fan. I haven't killed a deer with one, but have killed turkeys and gunieas. They are tough as nails and easy to sharpen. I went out tonight and sharpened a Zwickey Delta and an Ace Standard. The Ace took two minutes and the Delta took probably 7 or 8 minutes. Not a huge deal, but when I was done, the Ace was definitely sharper. That is probably more a testament to my sharpening abilities (or lack of) but the only other thing I can get as sharp is the new grizzlies.

I used to shoot the 175's but switched to the 200's. They are awesome heads! Here's a photo of the entry wound on a buck I shot last year - ouch!

I sharpen all my Aces with a KME sharpening system and I can get them "scary sharp" in no time at all. In fact, my wife made me start wearing a pair of Kevlar gloves because I kept accidentally cutting myself and bleeding all over the floor.

I have killed a few deer with the Ace 165gr express. Never tried the Super express but I don't see why it wouldn't be just as good. I also prefer to file sharpen mine.

Hey John. Don't worry about those heads. When the deer see you with your fuzzy bow they will drop dead !
