Vpa175 penetrator
« on: September 19, 2014, 11:26:00 PM »
Was wondering if anyone had experience with vpa 175 penetrator broadheads. I will be hunting with them this year, they fly like darts! Anyone have any kill pics from these broadheads? Thanks

Wish I had you some pics but this is the start of my second season with them. Last year I hit a large doe with one and she bled very well until hitting water and I lost her. They do fly well and I hope to get meat with them soon. Good luck with your season.

Ha.  I didn't take any pics of the carnage but I use them.  I purposely shot the hog in the shoulder to see what the penetration would be.  Buried the nock to the shoulder.  Entry shattered the shoulder broke three ribs passed through heart on exit broke two ribs and blew through should cracking shoulder blade.  Pig was roughly 100 pounds and she was very fat.  55 pound @28 CX heritage 250 100 grain insert and 175 vpa.

I will be conducting more testing later this week   Next time ill take internal cavity pics
