Is this a Black Widow
« on: September 22, 2014, 05:06:00 PM »
I am looking to purchase this bow. The gentlemen tells me he bought it at Raptor Archery. They had it listed as a Black Widow LAG.  There are no markings on the bow showing it as a BW or any other make.  Its 56 @ 28" 60". It's a nice bow I just want to be sure of what I am getting.

Thanks

It looks like to me a Chek-mate or a Cascade possibily? Doesn't look like any Widows I've seen.

Hard to believe Raptor would sell a faux anything but then again Raptor isn't the one making the claim....   :dunno:

Yes it was listed as a BW LAG by Raptor archery. Not being an expert on widows I bought the bow and really did not think too much about it until I wanted to sell it. It does not have bw's finish or grip, just bw like colors. That is why I never said it was a BW.

Did you contact Ted regarding his mistake and ask for a refund?

No, I like the bow and it shoots REALLY good. It was a consignment bow and he probably listed it as to what the owner said it was. I am not blaming anyone for anything. This is a great bow and I have no issues with whatever make it is. I just have more bows than money right now.

It may be a Beaver Creek, BUT the only ones I have seen had a curved stripe through the riser and not straight as your bow.

It looks nice and glad you're happy with it.

Could have been a blacked out bow?
