New Bear Traditionals
« on: September 25, 2014, 09:02:00 PM »
In case anyone is interested, Bear now shows their updated catalog, including new models like a new '68 style phenolic/rosewood Super Kodiak, and a maple sight window '59 Kodiak.
There are still some issues with what they describe not matching what is shown, but that will probably get straightened out soon.
Martin-Hunter & Bamboo Viper, Black Widow Camo PLX, Holm-made Osprey, Toelke-SS #5 & Super D, Brackenbury Drifter, Wes Wallace Mentor, Kimber Huntsman,  Rose Oak-Wildcat II, Ocelot, Ace & 2 Heritage TDs, Bear-'67½  SK & '59 Kodiak Special - all LH

Wow! That Super K looks awesome. I really wish they would make this in a 62 or 64" model.

They DO make it in a 64" according to the pdf version of the catalog.  The features section is definitely messed up - it says the SK has a feather rest and leather grip too, which it obviously doesn't show in the pictures.

You better get on his list. I hear they can't even keep up production on last years models. I bet that ones going to be popular! I'm with you. I sure do love some Bears! LOL! It's about all I shoot anymore!

I couldn't find the PDF catalog. Where is it on the web site. If they have a 64" I'm going to be all over this.

Go to the bottom of the home page, just under where it says "Business Info" you can click on "Download Catalog" and it does show a "64" Riser" under the SK. I've always been a longbow guy, but I may have to see if I can get my hands on one of those.
