Limbsavers on Black Widow?
« on: September 27, 2014, 05:40:00 PM »
Have any of you used Limbsavers on your Widows? If so where on your limbs gives you the best results and will they affect my performance to the point of having to retune my arrows?

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a question for ranger 3 and or oldskool which I think is applicable. I have looked at the stiktamers for a couple of my hybrids, but was afraid they would get in the way when unstringing the bow. Granted I rarely if ever unstring during the season but have you found this to be an issue? I would hate to tear the top one up every time I unstring. Just for the record, I have limbsavers on my main hunting bow (the recurve model) and I think it made it marginally quieter and didn't appear to effect performance. Mine are also mounted just above the fadeouts.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like I'll have to give them a try on my next order.
