More praises for the new Classifieds
« on: October 01, 2014, 01:54:00 PM »
I just wanted everyone to know that I recently had a pleasant experience buying a bow from a great fellow in Texas, known on here as Davey Crockett.

It is a practically new Big Jim TC takedown.

The bow is everything David said it was and the transaction was seamless.

We used PayPal, he was straightforward and honest in everything he said and did, the bow arrived quickly, insured, thru the USPS.

What a joy to do business with an honest man who has the greatest of integrity!

This continues to renew my faith in the integrity of TG members, this site, the hard working moderators, the sponsors, and everything I have ever experienced about TradGang and it's associates.

Thanks to all of you who participate here.

David also has the sister bow, a Big Jim Buffalo, for sale on the Classifieds right now, at a great price, if anyone is in the market.

Lots of honorable folks around here.  I have had nothing but perfect transactions this past year and moved a lot of cool bows to new homes and also snagged a few keepers from some great guys.  Treat others how you would like to be treated.  There's something special to a place where folks have a level of trust like I have found here.  I have a nice handful of folks I consider bow-brothers LOL!  You know who you are!

Good to read a thread regarding a guy that I actually know.  David and I bear hunted together in British Columbia around 2007 I think.  Great guy from always too da*n hot Texas!

Back at ya Irv. You are too kind. It's really easy, just treat people like you want to be treated. If that pleases them great, if not then you prolly wasn't going to any way.   :campfire:

I sold a couple bows here this year trying to thin the herd and all transactions went perfectly.  Thanks Terry and the moderators here.   :clapper:

I always have had good experiences here, never a problem with anything I bought.  I am not a member of the classifieds now, so that was before the membership fee that I had my experiences.

Davey is a great guy to deal with for sure.  I've traded with him before and he buys/sells some of the best out there.

I've bought/sold/traded on this site for many years and never had any issues until just recently.  Bought a bow and noticed an issue with it a couple of weeks later.  The seller blamed me for it and took no responsibility at all.  Fortunately, even though there was no warranty on it, the Bowyer is repairing it now.

I said that to say, from now on, I will explicitly have a written agreement to the condition and return plan with anyone that I either buy from or sell to. For whatever that would be worth.

Good shoot'in.
