I saw a flock of 7-8 turkeys in a field my husband farms for someone else. I'm thinking I should ask permission to hunt them in Dec.

You might try for those turkeys Bona. They are hard to kill this time of year but they sure taste good if you can get one to walk in front of of one of your arrows.

I am "on the bench" for a couple of weeks. The logging co. has moved onto the property, but they should finish in 2 wks. That will give me a little time to find a buck and hopefully a turkey. Good luck to all.....the late season can be great!! Mike

Been a great season so far. Freezer is full, and I still have one tag left for some late season hunting.  Love hunting in some snow!  Congrats to all and continued good luck!

I still have not seen any deer. I hunt public lands and there has been a lot of rabbit and bird hunters running dogs this year. Today a bird hunter peppered the tree I was in I left as fast as I could.

Not a success but went out the first time with the recurve this evening since back firearms came in. I'm in a late doe season county so I had a Blackhawk along as well. It felt really good to have the bow back out. Not quite ready to use it during firearms yet but I'm beginning to understand those that do. Never felt that way with a wheel bow
