2014 Doe

Finally filled a tag this year.  Last year was a complete bust and this elk season was on fire just no shot opportunity.  I did however manage to put some meat in the freezer with my new Palmer Classic carbon.  Shot a healthy Mulie doe the other day got her at 42 yards with a Beman ics 400 and 250 grain stos broadhead.  Complete pass thru and a 50 yard recovery.  I still have one more deer tag and a late season elk tag I intend to use my bow for.  Hopefully I will continue to be fortunate.

Hell of a shot! Congratulations! I got a pig and a brumby at that range, once. Not my preferred range, and these days I wouldn't do it.
