Depends....on how many big ones I've missed lately, how close I am, how badly I want the meat, how easy of a shot he gives me.  Antlers don't taste very good.  About as good as tag soup!!!   :)

Absolutely...if I had more than one buck tag. If I only had one tag it would come down to a heat of the moment decision...which would probably be "pick a spot, come to anchor...bam." A trophy, just like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

That may be an antlered doe with all that funkiness. I wouldn't shoot it if I were Randy Burtis cause Id know Id kill a bigger one in a day or two but me? I would.

I was thinking the same thing.  An antlered doe.  Very cool if it is.

Yep, you can't eat horns! Besides, I haven't even gotten my first so, a trophy for me will be that first one.   :biglaugh:

Depends on the shot, time remaining in your hunt and how far the carry/drag is?  Lots of things of course.  Always fun and gratifying to have everything go as planned i.e. short blood trail!

I don't get that many chances if a shot presents it's self........I would be shooting!!

Doesn't look like an ethical shot to me. I would wait for a better opportunity. just my thoughts.
