Can't do it...got two daughters in a play this weekend starts on Thursday...and we are suppose to get HAMMERED late tonight with BAD weather...maybe its best that I did miss all the way around.

Really bad squall line coming...got to unplug several computers to save data just in case.

Bummer Terry. I admire you sticking around home to be a  father.

(personally, I think ole Lucky has you traumatized    :smileystooges:        )

Hopefully Next year Charlie will have Killed Lucky and you can make it back to Kenny's. I'm sure its not the same without you.
Relax,

T is the man , family first! Stay safe bud!

Been raining here all day may quit sometime tomorrow with a bit of luck. The guys tried this morning for a bit til the rain got too heavy.

I haven't seen ol lucky, not sure where he went to. Unless he figured his luck was all used up and left the country....  :D
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Here's that P/Y turtle that was watching my tree stand for me.

He was sitting in the sun and did for about a hour before he slid off into the pond.

Woodchuck directly under me right after.

Lots of deer and turkey every sit so far till this rain moved in, buck tag is filled does have been staying just out of range.

Spent a great afternoon in Kenny's shop skinning animals talking bows and some shooting. Here's Guru testing one of Kenny's bows.

Still raining and nasty but should be moving out later today

Cell service is terrible but I'm posting a few picks from my phone. I will download the rest from my good camera when I get home but try to keep a few going for ya. Just did a drive around a several deer were out, Curt and I are going to go move a stand do some scouting in a new spot Terry recommended.

Curt Text me...I know where he is...told him about a place near 60 yards from where he's sitting in a stand now, and he's seen a big buck run into the area I told him about.....lets pull for him that the buck circles back out of that area and back into the beans and crossed right in front of him.

That is a possibility if the buck comes out the other side, he very well may come back through narrow gap in beans right in front of Curt.  He's in the game this evening as he had another smaller buck at 10 yards and he was with a doe.  There's some pin oaks behind Curt and if the buck comes out on the left it will very likely graze on the beans through that gap to get to the pin oaks.

Good luck Curt! I have a  strong Idea of where he is also Based on Terry's description.

Tracy, If it starts raining really hard, you can hunt out of the cab of the old Tractor   ;)    ;)

The old tractor is a perfect set up....had several cross there to enter the neighboring property. I couldn't get the tractor lights to turn on and it was too dark to shoot ! :)

Yeah Kenny. ....i talked to him about that area too....hope he hunts late in AM.......and hunts it an evening as well as evenings seem to have been better in there but don't want to detract him from hunting where he did tonight another evening as well.....he needs to go with HIS GUT on that as he's was in a great area this afternoon. ....and it could replay again another afternoon.

Walked into a new stand in the dark this morning, never hunted or been around this stand. Came around the corner and seen a nice reflective tack showing were the stand was which is nice no fumbling around in the dark looking for it. Walked up crossed the little creek looked up and suddenly had six glowing tacks and two were lower to the ground. Oops! About that time they let me know I was intruding on there space and ran off telling ever animal they could blowing the whole way.    :bigsmyl:    When it got daylight I had a bunch of turkeys roosted all around me and later almost got a shot at one on fly down. Passed on a button buck only looking for a doe now that the buck tags filled and found some good sign in this spot. Not bad since the rain stopped yesterday afternoon!
