This area is salt marsh and it's salty.  I shot the stag with an A Boyer broad head.  It was only in the ground or marsh with water covering it a few inches 10 or 15 minutes.  I wiped it off good and within 2 hours washed it and oiled it and this is what it looks like.  
 

Here's a pic of a small hind that got a pass.  Pretty little things.

Nice job! I was down there a couple days last week. Had 2 hinds within 20 yards but no shots. Stags were definitely starting to get restless.
