I screwed up. That is the date of the UBI banquet and as Treasurer I gotta be there. I would sneak down that way in Feb some time for an abrreviated version of the hunt though. Let me know.....
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

John,

That would be fine....I am game for about anything!!!

Bruce,

Hope to see ya there!!

NOW.....there were 16 votes for the 3/3/07 date.  I was not one of them..LOL, but with me being there that makes 17 that SHOULD be there minimum.  Lets hear from all of ya....that  way I know who is gonna be here.

Lets keep this toward the top till everyone has a chance to see the post.

thanks

I'm a definite maybe!

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

I am in for at least 1 of the days.  I am pretty certain I have another trad shooter coming with me.

As long as I can get the time off from work, I am in.  I have a buddy that is same way.  If he can get the time off he will come down with me.

I am in and could have two or three with me. Are we doing a three day weekend? Camping? Cabins? I am open for camping or cabin, I just need to know what day to show up and do I need to make reservations anywhere.

There are 4 places to stay that I can remember off the top of my head located at Wappapello.

Millers Motor lodge
Twin oaks
Barrets resort
Chiona landing

These are the four options that come to mind as far as lodging.

There are also a lot of "primitive" camping spots available.  The improved camping areas are closed that time of year.

We need to see what we want to do as a group....camp or stay in a cabin/motel/hotel.

I think that at least 3/4 places listed above have  cabins available.

Lets decide what we want to do.

Camp or Lodging??????

I assume that we will meet up Friday evening/night the 2nd of march(I can be at there by 3:30PM), and end on Sunday the 4th.  I can hunt Sunday till dark if some of you want to.

thanks

Count me and probably at least one more in.

My first vote is for cabins.

Second vote for camping.

It's all good.

Can't wait.

I will be there.  Don't know for sure if I will be solo or not.  I vote for cabins, I am not much of a camper.  If someone wants to split cabin let me know.

Sounds great! Do those of us coming from out of state need to pick up a 3-day trip license of some sort?  In Arkansas the hogs are considered feral and hunting is not regulated by Game and Fish.

Out of Staters do not need a license.  Just bring your bows and sharp arrows.
