I just reserved a cabin for Friday and Saturday. Their will be no more than 3 people in my group so there is at least 1 more bed open to anybody who needs one.

Will start scouting in earnest .....for more hogs and bait sights this weekend.
Will start putting out bait the first weekend of february. Going to TX on annual hog hunt last of month so wont be here that weekend. If anyone wants to help out that Saturday or sunday that lives close the 3 and 4th of Feb. I will be busy baiting!!!!
I am getting some pretty good reports of hogs/sign in 3 different/new areas. Will go check em out this weekend. Plus my normal honey holes!!! Also spent a bit of time on net looking at aerial photos and topo maps and found some new thickets and funnels to check out.
Ill keep you posted and try to take some pics this weekend.

I will see if I can make it down the first week of Feb. and will also try to make the hunt. It sounds like alot of fun. Might be able to round up a few others as well. I will prob bring a wheelie bow also since I may not be comfortable enough yet to be confident in my recurve shoot ing. But will bring it to shoot around some targets and stuff. Could you pm me a little more info about the area? where you are near? so i can find directions and maybe find the area on google earth to do some armchair scouting.

Sounds like a good time. I'll make every effort to get there. I'll make sure to bring #1 a STOS head that has been through three hogs, so far.

gwhunter sent a PM back.
We just got back from TX last night at 10:45pm. We had a heck of a time. We got SEVERAL and had a BLAST. I was impressed with the performance of my 49# BW PLIII. I got total penatration on one hog and would have on the other two if the arrow had not hit the dirt on the underside of the hog!!!
This weekend is when we are going to setup feeders if some of you guys that live close wanna help out!
thanks
