Sounds like you're using the right corn. :-)

wudstix,

we used straberry jello and rasberyy jello on the ground around the feeders.  I had a couple guys tell me to try this.  I thought the sweet smell would help the hogs find the bait?????  It was sprinkled on the snow/moist ground under and around the feeders.  what do ya think????

any other tips????

thanks
citori

Strawberry koolaid in the corn.  I have used it before, killing 2 hogs with a wheelie in the past.  It works!  Thanks again for all the help.  Your check is on the way.

I have a room reserved at millers, two beds and so far I have me and one other staying. If anyone wants to stay I am sure they have pull out beds or we can bring cots.  Just a thought.
If anyone is interested they can give me a call at home-573-883-7029  or work 573-883-7000 I will be down there friday to check the bait sites and put out more corn if needed.  Anyone that shows up early is more than welcome to give me a call.

I am takin off all day friday on the 2nd of March.....so I will be there early in the day to check things out and get some guys hunting if they want.

I plan on putting out some more bait stations this weekend.  I have a 4 day weekend so that will help.  We have lots of corn so we will try to fatten em up a bit...LOL

I am going to put out some of the bait by boat this weekend.  I will also check out the stations that we already have out.  I hope to put out about 5-6 more this weekend.  That will give us about 15 feeders.

thanks
citori

My crew(3) will be in a little after noon on Friday.  An evening hunt would be nice.  Any help would be appriciated.  Just point us in a direction, we should be able to find our way out by Sunday evening.

Bob.....

I have a feeling that you will be able to get anywhere ya need to go.....guess you are still bringin personal copies of the 4 maps you made for me for the guys that are hunting?????

Just to let you know....Bob made me 4 maps that are 3'X4' of all the areas we are going to hunt.  THey are both aerial photo and topo maps....they will help us out a LOT on planning and location of sign/feeders/etc.....THANKS Bob

We should be able to get a hunt in on Friday evening for those that want too.....We will probably head out about 2-3 in the afternoon.

thanks
citori

Nathan;
We have put the raspberry jello buried in wallas and in the ground.  The burial sites usually turn into massive digs.  Hope to take off from here @0300-0400 and be there @1600-1700.
