Citori;
I will have maps on hand for folks. Hopefully they will be useful.
I know how to make them, not so much on reading them.

There will be 3 in my group. Voodoofire, myself and Ryan, a compound shooting friend of mine. I'm trying to convert Ryan to trad.

I will take off work the 2nd. I will be there that morning to look around for the guys that want to hunt that evening. Saturday morning we hunt hogs on trails/feeders. The mid morning we will meet up and do some slow pushes of the thickets. THen if there is time stand hunt trails etc again that night. THen the same thing Sunday......or we will modify to suite the conditions/what we want.
We have 8 feeders out. Most have been checked. The report is that there have been hogs in the area of the last 3 we put out. THey have eaten all the corn off the ground, but have not seemed to be using the feeders. There is more sign with mud on trees and new trails in that area. THe area of the first traps we put out is that something ate all the corn off the ground......but all the rain made it difficult to determine what ate it.
I am going to scout that area more before the hunt. There seems to be the most activity consentrated in that area. I will also keep spreading corn in the area to try to concentrate them there. Mobiltoy also got a new report of hog activity in another spot. This is a LARGE area....so I will scout it to the best of my ability. Mobiltoy and Ozarkrambler are helping with the scouting and checking of feeders.
I will ceck other spots out. I have some more ideas to put bait stations. I will go in by boat this weekend also. It is a LOT of area to cover with just a couple guys.
THe hogs are here....just gotta put the time in to locate them and then hunt em.
Come on March!!!!
keep in touch

Where is the meeting up point going to be. If it's been said I missed it. We're staying at Millers and will check in there first early Friday. After that some scouting an hunting is the plan.
Yes Sir, come on March!!

I will be at Millers whenever the first guys wanna meet there. I will be there whenever everyone else wants to meet up. I would like to meet a few/early arrivals there about 8-9 and then go scout/look around/stump shoot....then come back early afternoon and meet the rest of the guys and go out hunting!!!! So lets say meet up at 8-9 friday morning and then meet up with some more of the guys at @ 2pm....
That should give the early arrivals a chance to look around and the guys getting here mid day a chance to go hunting the first afternoon.
You guys tell me what time and I will be there!!!!
thanks

Lets do a count and when you are gonna be here and with how many....
EX....day/time/# of guys/boat(yes or no)-total guys plus your num.
Friday/8am/3/yes-3
that will give me a number and time frame to expect guys arrival and what gear they are bringing!!!!!
thanks

I plan on baiting at least 3 different sited with 3 feeders by way of the lake. IF THERE ARE GUYS bringing boats. I will use 3 stations at each spot so a boat load of @ 3 guys will all have an area to hunt.
If there are several boats gonna be there I will bait more with my boat. I have a feeling this will get us to more unpressured areas than by road.
I have scouted 3 of the areas that are outlined in black on the map that was posted. One of them is showing MOST of the sign. As you can see from the map there is a LOT LOT LOT of area to hunt!!!!
thanks
