I am guessing that we will all meet at Millers before each hunt, kind of like a rendezvous.  Is that accurate?

I have to work Thurs. night but I'll try and be there Fri. morning to meet up with Citori and whoever else is coming that AM.

Just got home and am headed back out to check some of the feeders again and scout the first area where we put up feeders. We had rain and hail last night though so it may be kind of tough.

gwhunter,

Yes, we will use Millers as home base. Everyone is staying there.  I will meet up with whoever is there at 8-9am Friday to scout/look around/stump shoot.

Then I/we will be back around 12-1 to meet up with the rest of the guys to go out for the evening hunt or scout.....whatever those guys want to do.

thanks
citori

28 and counting...  This is gonna be fun!!!

What bow(s) are you bringing?

Here's my Dryad Windtalker that already has pig blood on it.

I'm bringing it and a Dryad Hunter for my backup bow...

What about the rest of you??

Lower feeder. This one is getting action now. It's still about 2/3 full.

Upper feeder in a pine thicket. This one still isn't seeing any activity. The corn we put on the ground is still there.

These trees are about 30 or so yards behind the upper feeder.

Ozark rambler, I am comming down this weekend to check some feeders and scout out for other places,  I still have your cell number. If you are going to be around I will give you a call.  Nathan I believe is going to try to put out some by boat on sunday.  The pics are encouraging.  I found quit a bit of new sign at the place off w highway last week.  The feeders had not been hit hard but there was a lot of activity near by.  Bill

Guys, would it be alright if I made up one of my armgard/knife combos for a give-a-way?, it would look similar to this one, but will have a tanto style knife instead of the guthook,I figure I'll brand in the words:" SEMO Hog Hunt 2007", hopefully we can all get together at one time for dinner or something and draw names from a hat, Sound ok to you fellas?

Also the surroundings look suitable to wear my ghillie and make like a bush, and as I've never hunted Hogs before, would that be a wise choice?
Thanks,Steve
