Looks to me like we have a pretty good deal going here. I have at least one other guy coming with me with the possibility of two more.

So is Millers Lodge going to be base camp? If so, I will call and make my reservations.

Citori, you are a good man (assumption on the man part as I don't know you) and putting a lot of time and effort in to this, my thanks. AND, if you want to setup PayPal account, or something similar, when you start the baiting stations, I will be glad to buy a few bags of corn for the cause, my buddy says the same. I would offer to come and help but I am about 6.5 hours away.

I would suggest using Millers Lodge as base camp.  I dont know what we will do if some of the guys wanna camp.  We should be able to set up within a couple miles of Millers with camp if some wanna do that.  We might ask Millers if we could set up campers for a small fee at their lodge so we could all stay at the same area?????

I do not have a PayPal account, but that is ok.  I have a couple other guys that are gonna help me set out bait stations.  BUT....thank you for the offer.

It should be a great time.  Looks like we are gonna have guys from SEVERAL different states!

thanks

It will be me and another friend, if we can make it.  We both have to put in our vacation picks for next year and will know for sure if we can get the time off in January.  Will confirm with you as soon as we know, one way or the other.
Thanks!!
Chris

talvey + 1 for sure, may have another coming....will find out after the first of the year. As for a cabin, sounds great, but can not commit this far out.....

Yep!  T-Mac, tmccall and Mike B will be coming from Northeast Arkansas.  If there are any other trad gangers from the Jonesboro area that would like to tag along you would be more than welcome!!!

I am in the process of switching from compound to trad.  I am not sure I will be ready to actually hunt but I am interested in coming down to shoot a little video.

Still room? I'd really enjoy coming down and giving this a try!  Let me know what you want in terms of help paying for corn/bait.

I have a cabin booked for me and my three amigos.

I am really looking forward to this, it will be my warm up for the Texas hog hunt I am taking two weeks later.

I might be up for a share in that cabin but I'm told I DO snore.  Not horrible like some folks but......Aw heck, what difference does it make?  Snoring is snoring.

I'm still a definite maybe for the hunt but it's sounding like it's gonna be a real hoot so I'd sure like to get in on it.  Maybe a deposit on a cabin is just the sort of incentive I need to commit eh?
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Well,

I talked to my buddy with the airplane this past weekend.  He said that it would be no problem to do a little scouting using his plane!  That should  allow me to have an idea of where hogs are staying.

I am not going to be around the computer from 12:30 today untill 8:00am on the 3rd of January!!!  I will try to check in a time or two in there, but I dont have a computer at home....only at work...LOL.

SO.....dont think I have forgotten about the hunt!!!!!!

Once again if you need to contact me during that time call my cell phone.  573-614-2725  If you have any questions do not hesitate to give me a call!

thanks
