I just wanted to let all of you that were helping me thank you so much.
As it stands right now, I can put 6 arrows in a soccer ball at 20 yards with perfect flight. I loosened my knocks on the arrows due to them being a little tight. I then moved my brace height to 8" with twisting the string. Also one of you on here mentioned knock point height. No matter what I shot they always read to stiff of spine. Well after messing around today I decided to knock the arrow on top of the knock point. I was told to start out at half inch of center and putting the arrow on top of the knock point made it close.
First shot, weak spine reading. Jaw literally dropped, I was shocked. I removed the 50 grain insert and put a 25 gr. in and still weak spine reading. I removed the 25 gr. insert and left a 125 gr. tip on. Bare shaft at 20 yards hit the soccer ball. I shot multiple times both bare shaft and fletched were dead on.
I then started to play with bare shaft arrows of different spine cut at 29". 600 spine arrow at 29" took 175 gr. up front and flew a hair weak. I then put a 145 gr. tip on and flew stiff. I am thinking if I want that length of arrow I will be about 160-165 gr. up front. 500 spine arrow was close at 200 gr. up front but I did not like the drop and didn't really mess with it anymore.
My arrows maybe a tad light then some would like to hunt with, but now my confidence is back up, especially with how my accuracy improved.
Side note went out this a.m. I didn't see any deer, but I did miss a squirrel at 15 yards. It was his lucky day because I think I took some hair off his tail. I keep in touch and continue to let you all know how the season down here is going for me.
